* About Don & Valerie

Don was born in Omaha and raised by his mother who was a single parent.  Having very little money for nice things his mother worked hard to provide the best she could.

Don often asked his mom, "Why Does Life Seem To Be So Hard" and his mom would often respond by saying "Life Is Easy if You Work Hard at It".

Growing up in downtown Omaha near 19th and Leavenworth taught Don alot about life lessons, and empathy for others, but he quickly realized the importance of hard work.

In 1976 Don obtained his real estate license.  During his first 3 years working part-time in real estate, Don was selling 24-30 homes per year. 

Taking the money he earned, he put himself through college, and obtained a Masters in Environmental Engineering, and a Master in Public Administration.

Don & Valerie were married in 1989. Valerie obtained her Brokers license in 1990, and she supported Don's real estate business from their home while Don was working full-time as an Environmental Engineer.  They were later blessed with 2 children Sean (1993) and Adison (1999).

Still working part-time in real estate Don was selling between 8 Million & 11 Million in real estate while working as a Sr. Vice President for an Engineering firm.

At the age of 50 (2001) Don decided to pursue the career that he truly loved which was real estate, so he quit his full-time job. Later he moved his office from the basement of their home and bought the RE/MAX Franchise.  In 2007 their business grew 50% while many other firms were suffering.

Having a desire to build a Special Office with Special Agents, Don began a recruiting campaign in the fall of 2007 which resulted in the recruitment of great agents.

Often agents will ask Don, Why is real estate so hard? and Don would respond by saying "Real Estate Isn't Hard if You Work Hard at It".

Don is Always Thinking...  Always Trying... and Always Working to support the best interest of his agents.
